Set a default action for your USB connection

To set your device to perform a default action when you connect the device to a PC with the PC data cable,

1. On the Home screen, press <Start> → Settings → Connections → USB.

2. Set the default USB mode (ActiveSync or Mass storage).

3. Press <Done>.
To use ActiveSync, see "Synchronise your device."

Transfer files to a memory card

1. Insert a memory card (see the Quick Start Guide).

2. Change the USB connection to Mass storage.(To use Mass storage, see "Connect via USB.") 3. Connect your device to a PC with the PC data cable.

4. Select Open folder to view files when a pop-up window appears on your PC.

5. Transfer files to the memory card and vice versa.

6. When you are finished, disconnect the device from the PC.
