Use basic camera functions

Learn the basics to capture and view photos and videos.

Capture photos

1. Press [] to turn on the camera.
2. Aim the lens at the subject and make any adjustments.
• To change the viewfinder, press the Navigation key up ().
• To set the exposure value, press the Navigation key left or right ( or ).
• To select the time delay, press the Navigation key down ().
3. Press the Confirm key or [] to take a photo.
4. Press <Save> to save the photo.

View photos

1. From the camera viewfinder, press <View>.
2. Scroll to a photo and press the Confirm key.

Capture videos

1. Press [] to turn on the camera.
2. Press [1] to switch to Camcorder mode.
3. Aim the lens at the subject and make any adjustments.
• To change the viewfinder, press the Navigation key up ().
• To set the exposure value, press the Navigation key left or right ( or ).
• To select the time delay, press the Navigation key down ().
4. Press the Confirm key or [] to start recording.
5. Press <> to stop recording.
6. Press <Save> to save the video.

View videos

1. From the camcorder viewfinder, press <View>.
2. Scroll to a video and press the Confirm key.
