PhbookYou can store phone numbers in your SIM card and in your phone’s memory. The SIM card and phone’s memory are physically separate, but they are used as a single entity called Phbook. PHBOOK ENTRIES
Smart Dial
SEARCH FOR A CONTACT IN SMART DIAL In the [Smart dial] menu, you can find a contact by pressing in sequence the numeric keys corresponding to the entry name. For example, to find ‘John’, just press numeric keys 5-6-4-6 in sequence. OPTIONS With a contact entry found in the [Smart dial], you can: Add New Entry In the standby mode, select [Phbook→Add new entry]. ADD TO SIM
1. The amount of entries that you can save in a SIM card depends on the memory of the card. 2. When saving a new SIM contact without assigning a name, your phone asks “No name. Save?”, select <Yes> and your phone automatically saves it as “No name” 3. The Mobile field is required for a new SIM contact. ADD TO PHONE Each entry saved in the phone can contain a name, mobile phone
number, office phone number and home phone number. To add a
new phone contact, enter the fileds you want and press
1. You can save up to 300 contact entries in your phone’s memory. 2. When saving a new phone contact without assigning a name, your phone asks “No name. Save?”, select <Yes> and your phone automatically saves it as “No name”. 3. In order to be able to save a new phone contact, you must at least enter one number for such contact. ASSIGN A SPEED DIAL NUMBER (1) In the standby mode, select [Phbook→Speed dial]. CANCEL A SPEED DIAL ASSIGNMENT In [Speed dial] menu, select a speed dial number and you can
press
Phbook Manager COPY You can copy contacts between your phone and the SIM. You can
choose any of the following ways to copy: 1. When you are trying to copy by selecting [One by one] an entry that has the same name and phone number with another entry in the target memory, the phone asks ”Same entry. Copy?”. However, if you use [All], the phone copies all entries without asking even if there are same entries between the copying memory and target memory. 2. When the phone asks “Not enough space.Continue?”, you can select <Ok> to continue copying until the target memory is full. 3. When copying entries from phone to SIM, only the name and phone number are copied. An entry saved in the phone with multi-numbers will be saved as several entries with the same name in the SIM. DELETE Use this menu to delete contact entries from the SIM or the phone. OWN NUMBER This menu allows you to check your own phone number. MEMORY STATUS This menu allows you to check the number of contact entries you have stored and maximum number of contact entries you can store in the phone’s memory and in the SIM card. |

Phone entries: You can save up to 300 contact entries in the
phone. Each entry can contain a name, mobile phone number,
office phone number and home phone number.

Select <Detail> to view detailed information of the selcted entry.
