Text Entry

Your phone adopts eZi predictive input mode. You can use the following methods for entering text and numbers.
eZiEng:A predictive text input method that allows you to enter any character using single keystrokes.
Abc:Press a key once to insert the first letter on the key, twice for the second letter etc. If you pause briefly, the last letter in the display is accepted and your phone awaits the next entry.
123:Number mode that enables you to enter numbers. Press the keys corresponding to the digits you want.

When you’re editing a text message, the display screen will look like the below image.

Switch Input Methods

In text entry mode, you can press to switch input methods.

Abc

Press a key once to insert the first letter on the key, twice for the second letter etc. If you pause briefly, the last letter in the display is accepted and your phone awaits the next entry.

Tip:
Press key to change the case. (ABC: uppercase text; Abc: sentence case text; abc: lowercase text.

eZi Eng

eZi Eng text input method allows you to write messages quickly using your keypad and the built-in database. According to the letters you insert, the phone “guesses” the word you are trying to spell.

Use eZi ENG

(1) Enter a word:Press the corresponding numeric keys. The phone lists all possible words that match your keystrokes.
(2) Select the right word:When there are more than one matched words, press keys to select your desired one and press key to confirm.

Tip:
Press key to change the case (eZiENG: uppercase text; eZiEng: sentence case text; eZieng: lowercase text.

Press the keys corresponding to the digits you want.

Insert Symbols

While at any text entry screen, press the Star key to display symbols. To insert a symbol, press the corresponding number above the symbol. If the symbol you want doesn’t appear in the current column, press to see more.
You can press key to exit the symbol bar and press key to insert a blank (except in 123 method) .

Others

In text extry mode, you can press key to access the following options:
