Make a call

Before making a call, check the signal strength to make sure you are in a place with strong enough signal for communication.

(1) In the standby mode, enter the area code and phone number.
(2) Press to dial.

Notice:
When entering a phone number, you can press and hold to insert a pause (P) between the switchboard and the extension number. The extension number will be dialed after the switchboard number is put through.

MAKE AN INTERNATIONAL CALL

Enter the country code, area code and phone number. Then, press to dial. If necessary, press and hold to insert a Plus (+) symbol before entering the country code.

HOLD A CALL AND MAKE ANOTHER (NETWORK SERVICE)

You can put the current call on hold, and then make another call.
(1) When you are on a call, use the keypad to enter another phone number.
(2) Press to make the new call and the first call is automatically put on hold.

SWITCH CALLS (NETWORK SERVICE)

When you have one active call and one on-hold call, you can press key and select [Swap] to switch between the active call and the on-hold one.

USE SMART DIAL

In the standby mode, enter a phone number and press to access the following options:

Append number: Enter [Smart dial].
Send message: Edit a message to be sent to the phone number you entered.
Guide: Turn on or off the smart dial guide. When set to [On], the phone displays “*: smart dial” when you enter any numbers in the standby mode.

REDIAL A DIALED CALL

In the standby mode, press to open a list of your recent outgoing calls. Select your desired call record and press to dial.

LISTEN TO YOUR VOICEMAIL

When you have a new voice message, a warning tone sounds. You can dial the voice mail box number to listen to the voice message received.
In the standby mode, press and hold key to dial the voice mailbox number.

MAKE AN EMERGENCY CALL

Enter the emergency phone number and press to dial.

ADJUST CALL VOLUME

During a call, you can simply press to adjust the call volume, or select [Settings→Call setup→Call volume] and then press to adjust the call volume.
