WiMAX относится к технологии Wireless LAN, которая может соединяться с точками доступа стандарта IEEE 802.11 (WiFi). WiMAX является альтернативой прокладки кабеля или линии DSL при организации «последней мили». Стандарт 802.16 позволяет покрыть сигналом площадь радиусом до 112.6 километров, без прямой видимости. Реальные тесты показывают более скромные результаты - около 5-8 километров. Пропускная способность WiMAX по стандарту составляет порядка 70 Мбит/с. Тесты показывают пропускную способность от 500 кбит/с до 2 Мбит/с, в зависимости от условий.

Install the SIM card and battery

When you subscribe to a cellular service, you will receive a Subscriber Identity Module, or SIM card, with subscription details, such as your personal identification number (PIN) and optional services.

To install the SIM card and battery,

1. Remove the battery cover.

If the phone is on, press and hold [] to turn it off.

2. Insert the SIM card.

Place the SIM card in the phone with the goldcoloured contacts facing down.

3. Insert the battery.

4. Replace the battery cover.
