Brief introduction

Communication control keys

Calling key is used to make a call from master card (after a number has been entered or selected from the phonebook), and also to answer an incoming call. Under standby state, press the key to display recent dialed calls.
Left soft key can used to make a call from slave card after a number has been entered or selected from the phonebook.
Ending key is used to end a call (under calling or conversation state),or to quit the menu and return to standby state. Pressing and holding the key for about 2 seconds can switch on/off the phone.

Direction keys and soft keys

Access the "Settings/Phone Settings/Dedicated key" menu, you can set direction keys. Under standby interface, press the left soft key to access the main menu, and at this time the four direction keys are used for moving the selection box to select function menu. Press the right soft key to directly access the phonebook. During menu operation, functions of the left and right soft key are displayed at the bottom line of the screen and they are closely related to the current state of the phone.

Numeric keys

Numeric keys from 0 to 9 and symbol keys * and # are used for dialing, inputting password, English letters, symbols etc.
They can be also used to select menus.
For an international call, pressing and holding "*" key for more than two seconds under standby state can input "+" symbol.
Pressing and holding "#" key for more than two seconds under standby state can enable mute function, and pressing and holding this key for another two seconds can resume the previous mode.
Pressing and holding any numeric key from 2 to 9 for more than two seconds can quickly dial the speed-dialing number set by the user (You may customize such shortcut key in the speed dialing setting in access the “Settings/Phone Settings/Quick dial” menu).

Icons displayed on the main screen (Icons may be changed without further notice)

The first line of the screen may display the following icons:

Antenna and signal reception strength
Battery indicator
Alarm clock enabled
SMS prompt
MMS prompt
Missed call(s)
GPRS prompt
Line 1
Line 2
Ring Icon at this place varies according to prompt tone type and can be one of the following three icons:
Vibration and ring
Vibration only
Vibration then ring

Language and input method

The phone provides English input method. For specific operations please refer to the chapter relevant to input methods, where you can know in details the usage of various input methods and how to switch between input methods.

Incoming call prompt mode

The phone has built-in vibrating motor and buzzer and can provide the following fours modes of incoming call prompt:

Ring.
Vibration only.
Vibration and ring.
Vibration then ring.

Group

Groups in the phone are divided into friends, family, VIP, Business, others etc. User may set different incoming call ring tones and incoming call images for different groups.

Terminology

【Domestic call】

Please first input the area code and then the phone number to be dialed out.

【International call】

Hold down"*" key until "+" appears, and input the country code, area code and phone number.

【Emergency call】

You can make an emergency call for help whether or not there is a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card in the phone.

【IMEI】

International Mobile Equipment Identification code. After switching off the phone and taking off the battery, you can see the bar code label with this code at the back of the phone. The code stored in the phone can be displayed by inputting"*#06#" under standby state after the phone is switched on. All brands of mobile phone worldwide must be printed with this identification code, and the IMEI code for each phone is globally unique without repetition with another.
